At present the group ManSound is one of the best-known jazz collectives in Ukraine. While not that long ago there was rather paradoxical situation – this group was considerably better known abroad than at home. Only a few years ago their music was known only by connoisseurs here – though the group already managed to travel through half of the world by then, and everywhere it enjoyed success. Taking into consideration their high professionalism – it is not surprising. And the foundation both for the group and for its success was Volodymyr Mihnovetsky. The creator and guardian of the group, masterful and inspired singer, composer, arranger, manager – each of participants of the sextet, probably, will confirm that without this person ManSound could just never have appeared. Volodymyr is no longer with us – his art is alive, the business that he initiated is living. It comes to life each time when this music warms somebody's heart – and it warms often. Actually, that is how it should happen with talented music, with talented life – they do not disappear, just transform. And the stream of time makes them even brighter. First, as of the moment of its creation in 2000 this was – and, it seems, still is – the only female a capella jazz quintet in Ukraine . Secondly, the album was released in 2002. Honestly speaking, we no longer even hoped to see it in our catalogue. Currently, such a capella Ukrainian CDs as "Don't Forget..." or, say, "Interlacing" are a real great rarity.

...Yulia Roma's singing sounds just as that minute of silence before the sunrise, as if blue eyes of a child three-month old, attentively and easily... Music of this voice transforms jazz into soft crystal, it is so masterful that it does not attract any superfluous attention – but you cannot actually stop listening, noticing, feeling – and the sun rises, and the heart elate...
