Braty Gadyukiny is a legend of Ukrainian rock music, which has appeared considerably more alive than it seemed even a couple of years ago, before the glorious come-back concert in Kyiv, in 2006. This group has appeared even more alive than many of those who have during the last 10-15 years been engaged in playing concerts and releasing of discs much more actively than it – isn’t it a wonder? From the times of the first Chervona Ruta and until now Braty Gadyukiny has been, maybe, among those who most notably influence becoming and development of Ukrainian rock-and-roll. However, it is, unfortunately, not so much it as its former works that influence – for the group has not been releasing studio albums since 1995. Though, it did make us happy with the release of three concert albums – but when the issue is music by Braty, this it all the same not enough. One wants new albums, new great concerts – this is what everybody who has had time to truly estimate this phenomenon wants. And there are dozens of thousands of such people, by the way. We are waiting!
