Tonino has mom and dad who do not always find a common language. He has urban grandparents, and rural ones. And they are very different, because they live in different worlds. And it is the rural grandparents who with their words, deeds, the way of their being reveal to us treasures of emotions, teach to understand ourselves and loved ones, perceive and rethink even the most complex things and phenomena. Even death, which is an integral part of life.
This story is a return to childhood, with its possibility of the impossible, and a reminder that miracles are close to us and that, despite sadness, injustice, and despair, we will manage to see them, if only we open our hearts to them."
