Katarzyna Kotynska. Lviv: perechytuvannya mista. (Lviv: Re-Reading the City)
"This book is an attempt to discover the image of Lviv in the 19th and 20th century literature created in different languages. Because it is precisely at that time, according to the author, that one could best see the attempts at construction of various national narratives about Lviv, their mutual relations and conflicts. This is an attempt to critically explore the popular myth of Leopolis multiplex in order to contribute into better understanding of Lviv's "other," no matter who that is – a Ukrainian, a Pole, a Russian, or a Jew."
