Lviv Chamber Orchestra, founded in 1959, was the first ensemble of that type in Ukraine. Till now it remains one of the best orchestras in Ukraine and may be not only in Ukraine. The orchestra often performs concerts and is a laureate and a winner of many festivals and contests. It works with great performers, Nina Matviyenko is among them. Besides "Spanish Dance" by Myroslav Skoryk and "the Gates of Algambra" by Claude Debussi, at this disc you will find seven tangos by Astor Piazzolla. I hope, the names and the titles attracted your attention as it is an ungrateful work to describe this music. It is an ungrateful work because it is created not for words and even in the contrast to words. It directly communicates with you, creates images and excites bright and fleeting feelings. It is impossible to keep pace with it through words, they exist in a different plane. Isn’t it the thing which classical music attracts us with? Isn’t it the possibility of silent communication with everybody who creates and recreates this music and in the first place with you yourself? So, send best regards to your "doppelgangers" when the orchestra performs this music for you. As for the performance... It is wonderful. It is with the love in your heart.
