"For seven years Alex Fokin Radio Band persistently puts into practice the idea of its founder and the artistic director – the idea of cooperation with outstanding figures of music industry. Every concert of the band is an important event in Ukrainian music life. The star collection of the orchestra includes concerts with the orchestra of Oleh Lundstrem (Russia), the guitarist Jonathan Butler (USA), the saxophonist, composer and pianist Ray Haskins (Great Britain), with an outstanding saxophonist Eric Mariental (USA), the most famous in Europe and in the world the electro band from Germany "SCHILLER" and his founder Christopher fon Deilen. And the last in this list is the unforgettable concert with the stars of Latin jazz: the pianist Freidi Ravel, the drummer Valfredo Reyes the junior and the charming singer Kim Sanders. Alexander Fokin doesn’t hide his far-reaching, but achievable aims such as creation of 12 concert programs "The stars of the world music meet Alex Fokin RadioBand", recorded on CD and DVD that will be nominated for Grammy Award for the first time in Ukrainian history. "

"Medicus" is a variety jazz band. The year of creation is 1960. The first name of the orchestra was "Rhythm". The jazz band of Igor Khoma was the first to represent Ukraine at the jazz music festival in Tartu (1960) and the only Ukrainian collective at international jazz festivals in Tallinn (1965,66,67)..

До этого неоднократно слышал этот оркестр, в том числе и вживую (во время гастролей в моем родном г. Днепропетровске). Поэтому альбом действительно понравился, - услышал то, что и ожидал. Понравился репертуар, удачные аранжировки. А самое главное - в игре оркестра чувствуется сыгранность и отточенное до блеска оркестровое звучание, которое удачно сочетается с сольными импровизациями отдельных исполнителей. Считаю, что по исполнительскому уровню Радиобенд А. Фокина ничем не уступает другим известным коллективам, играющим аналогичную музыку (например, Европейский оркестр Гленна Миллера, Igor Butman Big Band).
