Iryna Fedyshyn. Tvij Anhel. (Your Angel)

"Your Angel" is the debut album of the young Lviv singer Iryna Fedyshyn, who till recently was a participant of the creative association "Lyre". In 2005, she competed for the opportunity to represent Ukraine at EuroVision – then she reached the semifinal. Approximately at the same time she began moving in the direction of the solo career – and, as you can see, the efforts were not in vain. Actually, a half of songs on the album are hits tested by time, which brought fame and popularity to Iryna all through the country, and in the Western Ukraine she has even already become a bright, noticeable star of the pop-scene. Notably, unlike the majority of out pop-singers, Iryna Fedyshyn composes her songs herself – both the lyrics and music. Though, she does not do the arrangement – here she rather determines the direction. And this is one of the reasons why the album sounds so varied – each arranger has added his own view, the tint of mood. It is also nice that Iryna Fedyshyn's Ukrainian roots are felt in her singing. In the sounding of her own lyrics, folk notes appear sometimes, and this sparkle does not remain unnoticed. However, this is still nothing but pop-music – that is why all admirers of the light song genre must like the album.
