A few months ago, when Ivan Navi's videos first started going viral on the net, it became clear that it was a rather ambitious and quality project. Now, after release of the album, one could say that Ivan Navi is not deprived of that vitamin of joy that is often lacking in the Ukrainian pop scene. The style, ease, the Ukrainian language – these components are so far sufficient to not get lost among our new generation pop performers. Hopefully, it will no longer be enough soon, but at the moment he seems to be one of the pioneers. It is clear that in Ivan's song lyrics nobody tries to inject any super-deep meaning – in the end, his music is not about it – but they sound not only simple, but also natural, it can be heard, and it's good. Candor is not found in abundance in a warehouse, while all the rest – it's a matter of technique. It should be noted separately that two cover pieces are included into the album: "Kray" (The Land) by
Mozhovy and "Ptakhy" (Birds) of
Skryabin – these are a sort of a marker, a remarkable detail, aren't they?
