"In 2014, the Ukrainian rockers "Tin' Sontsya" have presented their new album – "Thunder in God's Forge." While the team's previous album of 2011 "The Hearth's Dance" was rather a collection of the best new and well-known compositions, the new album is conceptually holistic, as if a separate page of the band's life, and it is dedicated to the Ukrainian chivalric tradition from ancient Rus times to the present. Keeping in line with the good tradition, "Tin' Sontsya" title their album with an excerpt from the song that you can hear on it. "Thunder in God's Forge" is a line from the cult composition by Vasyl Lyuty Zhyvosyl – "The Sword of Arius". This is how Serhiy Vasylyuk, the band leader, explains why they chose such an album title: "Seeing all the injustice and evil happening in the world, the very God calls us to fight and forges a weapon for each" (information from the official press release) The release contains a 10-page booklet with lyrics of all the songs.

Artistic tools of alternative music, expressive male vocal with a number of emotional tints, introduction into the body of the songs of singing in the authentic manner, extraordinarily appropriate sounding of folk winds – all of that creates a very saturated, literally electrified atmosphere. It is in this connection that it's nice to note that lyrics of the songs in no way yield to the music.
