Very lively music, which almost imperceptibly but inexorably draws you into the circle of its fluctuations – even if you do not know Portuguese, even if you have never paid much attention to the Brazilian music. At the same time – there is no obtrusiveness, everything is so smooth and intelligent as it is possible when it comes to cool tunes, Latin American rhythms, and the energy of a warm holiday. But is it surprising? Caipirinha is a side project by Smack Band participants, who over 20 years ago started professionally performing Latin American music in Ukraine – not for mercenary reasons, but out of pure love. And love brings good fruit, which is normal. By the way, with regard to professionalism: note that all the melodies, arrangements, and even Portuguese lyrics are created by our musicians. And it sounds somehow so right that without knowing that, perhaps, you might have never guessed... So, we are twice pleased that international Brazilian music stars did not stay aside, and they praise the album.
