Alfa Alfa. Rozprjahayte khloptsi koney. (Hey, Unbridle Horses)
Participants of the duet Alfa Alfa once were a part of the group Chornobryvtsi – thus, then popularity came to them first. Actually, Alfa Alfa to some extent keeps on the line initiated by Chornobryvtsi. It means – with a merry smile, but also with a decent quality of mixing two colors in various proportions. Namely – Ukrainian and African ones, as Michael and Becky live in Ukraine, but their roots are in Uganda. So, that is how it happened that now you can hear Ukrainian folk songs mixed with such styles as hip-hop, soul, reggae, R'n'B – we should say that the combination has appeared interesting indeed. And the thing is even not only the mix of styles – in the end, there is lately no lack of experiments in this direction. However, whatever you might think, no "white" voice can be compared with what you will hear here – and this sparkle is worth hearing. First it is just interesting and amusing to listen. But afterwards – you start thinking how much energy in our songs still remain unrevealed, and to what extent their revealing depends on the manner, on the presentation. And, if one is not afraid of mixing colors – it might appear beautiful indeed.

Stereoliza. XYZ (X-amine your zippa). /re-edition 2007/.

This project, without exaggeration, has all chances to become in Ukraine one of the most interesting. "Stereoliza" combines pop music, elements of hip-hop, electronics, something of the disco mood – and the mix appears actual both for Ukraine, and, literally, for the whole of our round Earth. It by no aspects concedes to the best world pieces of the genre.

Vchid U Zminnomu Vzutti. Prosto.

It is very easy to “hook” your ear on the hip-hop by V.U.Z.V. First, there are no questions concerning the quality – it has appeared both sated and simple. And the second reason is the texts. Combination of cute jive and easygoing humor – the combination advantageous and rare.

Hey! whatever happenned to this disk? did it not come out?
Just wondering, 'cause the previews sound awesome! The choruses got a Deep Forest feel to them, and generally the mix seems really genuine and upbeat. Sounds like good party music.
