Nadia Gural. Na kray svitu. /digi-pack/. (To the End of the World)

Nadia Gural is a young singer, but her experience is considerable already: for about 10 years she has been performing on stage. However, she started as a performing author – while the debut album is developed in a more variety art manner. However, this does not negate the fact that she is the author of both the lyrics, and melodies of the songs on this album – only the arrangements were done by other musicians. Diverse – but, nevertheless, everything is done in the same manner, at the intersection of the Ukrainian variety art and the European pop music, with very obvious stylization as modernized folklore. As a result – we have an album of light music that can entertain both with lyrical texts, and dance rhythms, and, respectively, pleasant folk motives (at least, Ukrainian and Balkan ones). Actually, this is exactly what in Ukraine we now refer to as fashionable variety music.
