I think, there is no need for Oksana Bilozir to prove her right to hold a firm place under the sun. Moreover, her place at the Ukrainian variety art is far from being the last one. This is proved even by the names of the people who co-operate with her – Kryvuta, Tkach, Tatrchenko, Zibrov, Rybchynskyi and others. These people are well-known in Ukraine and they do not give their songs to the first comer. That is why exactly Oksana Bilozir has the full right to record the collection of the best songs, because she has already got a lot of impressive Ukrainian hits behind herself. I would like to mention the famous “Ukrainochka” performed by her, or “Oy, zelene zhyto, zelene” (“Oh, green rye, green”) – a modern classics of the Ukrainian variety art. In general, having a great number of admirers in Ukraine and beyond its bounds, she could have relaxed – but she wouldn’t. Her songs are often broadcast and she often gives concerts.
