Oles' Zhuravchak. Spivucha sopilka 3: Sny Karpat. (Singing sopilka 3: Dreams of the Carpathians)

We already see Oles Zhuravchak with the project "Singing Sopilka" for the third time. But, contrary to the previous two times, now we know a bit more. For example, that starting from 2005 Oles has been one of main actors of the bright folk rock group Vognesmih. Or, for example, that in 2008 Oles Zhuravchak acted as the producer of the festival "Feel the Taste of Your Mother-Tongue" – within the framework of the International Languages Festival "Ecology of Communication". This impresses, doesn't it? – and, by the way, the circle of his activities and interests is far not limited to this. Considering the abovementioned, it is very nice to note that the virtuoso mastery that Oles Zhuravchak represented on his first two solo discs – has not been covered with dust, has not been lost. He is still able to fire up and refresh with light silver brooks of flying notes – and to thrill with unhurried lyricism of melodies. The modern and traditional interlace in his performance absolutely naturally, melodies of other peoples grow into Ukrainian basis simply and naturally – one even does not notice all of that at once. And – it is done in a talented way.
