An incredible album – indeed, TNMK somehow manage to add up momentum even after the 17 years of their common history (don't tell me that when aged 17, everybody is cool, yeah..). The previous album "S.P.A.M." seemed to be the peak – but no, it appears that one can go deeper, stronger, and brighter. The Ukrainian 2014 has "frozen" someone, someone has turned into a lifeless mess, but what has happened to "Tanok" is like in that poem by Shevchenko – "Oy vyostryu tovarysha" (Oh, I'll Sharpen My Comrade)...The sharp, curious, sarcastic lyrics by Fozzey do not allow your mind any chance to sleep (which, as known, generates monsters) – and the music immediately nourishes all the other sensors. That's right – this music is so saturated that one seems to sense its touch, and smell, color, and taste. The album is so rich in nuances that it makes no sense describing them, and one round of listening is definitely not enough – you can put it on replay and always find in it something new, interesting (to not even mention the obvious decorations – the traditional skits between the songs). "The Mirror" is already being fragmented into quotations – and that's right, we have long been having prophets in our own home) I believe that TNMK is also one of that sophisticated list. Moreover, the symbolism of the number 7 is multi-layered – for example, it is a symbol of the unity of Heaven and Earth, the soul and the body. And if one perceives lyrics of the new album from this perspective – maybe, that could turn out a fairly good story of wandering and revelation..

Regarding songs by Boombox, it has always been interesting to listen to the lyrics – among other things, due to their disposition to (and the ability of) playfulness. But the further, the less verbal balancing they contain – but more poignant senses, refined formulas, comprehensive observations. The new (mini)album "Naked King" is a very vivid evidence of that..

"People" is a work small in size, but rich in content. From heavy teen romance – to some serious generalizations only possible when having gained experience. From quite intimate reflections – to civil pathos. And in terms of the sheer sound, it turns out – diverse.

Something is changing inside. The feeling is as if Andriy Khlyvnyuk submerges much deeper now, and peers much closer, and than suddenly opens up and appears probably even defenceless, vulnerable – and because of that, however strange that may be, stronger. Well, here it is, "S.P.A.M." – and it is worth having been waited for. In the deciphered form the name of the disc sounds in this way: "System of Programming an Alternative Mind". At least – this means that TNMKongo is really fed up with something.

...The updates are not so radical that it is impossible to recognize originals – but, on the other hand, the sound nature appears surprisingly diverse. Since a good deal of styles are mixed here, the key common feature of all the tracks is not a certain style but high energy value. Actually, it always happens with Tartak.
