Having heard about all changes that happened to the famous Ocean Elzy, we shouldn’t be surprised with the fact that Pavlo Gudimov, their guitar player (or ex-guitar player), also started conducting experiments with his own art and released a solo album. Moreover, this is a solo album practically at 100%, as Gudimov is personally responsible for music, lyrics, arrangement, programming, vocal, back vocal, guitar, mandolin, percussion and, finally, for the recording itself. His age doesn’t allow us to call him a child prodigy, but all the same – good for him. Good for him, especially since the album doesn’t inspire any dismal melancholy. Actually, there is some sadness in it, though in general it gives a positive impulse, so that the desire to hang yourself does not appear with you. In addition, he has turned out to be a good arranger. That’s why, in spite of the general good mood of the recording, it is not monotonous. As for me, this work of art is marked by lightness, at that this lightness is more pleasant than vain. You see, there are thoughts present here, and they are different, but they are not put on a pedestal, on the contrary, they fly simply and easily somewhere near your head. They do not burden you – it is impossible to take constant trouble over something, you need some breaks. Good, ...imov.

Mastering of this release was performed in the USA, in the studio of the legendary sound producer Bob Ludwig, whose experience during the almost half-a-century career includes work with over 1200 musicians. This mastering was born at the height of "Dolce Vita Tour" in 2010 and as brightly as possible it conveys the integral, bright sound of the live concert performance.

Мне откровенно не понравилось, кроме, может быть, Без Тебе, все остальное пустая трата времени. На мой взгляд Esthetic Education - явно выигрывают в качестве и желании подходить к делу с творческой стороны. Надеюсь следующий проект Паши Гудимова будет поинтереснее, я в него верю

В общем здорово:) я не ждала такого, скорее готовилась к чему-то хуже. Позитив... солнце... радость. Чего ещё ждать от лета? Вот это и будет логичным и органичным продолжением летних пейзажей. Легкость хоть и не является отличительной для меня чертой, порой заслуживает внимания. Легкость, но не пошлая и пустая. Ассоциации (повторяюсь) с солнечным днем где-то на природе. Он здесь весь: от утренней свежести, легких шепотов жары в полдень до ночной тайны. Есть и ветер, и гроза... Мне понравилось, словом. Хотелось бы увидеть достойное продолжение:)

After listnening to the first post-Okean Elzy CD from Esthetic Education, I was half expecting another band member to cash in on name recognition. At my son's insistance, I listened to this album many times before I finally realized this CD really rocks without the prefunctery over-the-top production of the last few Okean Elzy CD's. The production is much sparcer, but the vocals more crisp, yet muted. The guitarwork is impecable, reminding me of former Deep Purple guitarist, Tommy Bolin, but with less emphasis on the guitar solos. If you had to choose a career to follow, I would suggest Pavlo Hudimov, and avoid Esthetic Education and crew.
