The civic educational project "LikBez. The History Front" was established in the spring of 2014 and brings together civic activists among Ukrainian historians.
The project’s objective is to promote Ukraine's history in a variety of formats, since it is an adequate perception of the past that forms the basis of the Ukrainian identity and is a safeguard of the country’s unity.
To create the future, one needs not only the will and courage, not only persistence and daily work, but also knowledge about our history. Uncensored. For the first time in 15 years, a multi-volume popular exposition of the history of our country is published in Ukraine. The authors do not follow an ideological order, their assessments sometimes do not coincide.
