Ostap Gavrysh is a known variety art composer, whose songs sound in repertoire of a lot of popular performers. But it is not quite songs that are the focus of this disc – although, certainly, quite a lot of them sound here. The specificity in this case is that this is a music film, not a selection of video clips. That is, in addition to some music filming, it is possible to also see here small common, handicraft sketches. No, these sketches are not of great ethnographic value – but they look quite picturesque. However, you still need to keep in mind: if you look for a music film with folk music, this is not the option. But if you do not mind variety music of the Western Ukraine type – then the film "Where Fir-Trees Are Slender" may become quite a good purchase.
