"This book is a result of desire to keep the memory of the most elusive art – theatre. The core of the book are photographs of the DAKH theatre, which was created in 1994 in Kyiv by the prominent Ukrainian art director Vladyslav Troitskyi. The DAKH is an open area for the creative work, and its history is primarily the story of people who formed it. The book contains unique texts on the theatre and the individuals who contributed to its creation.

This edition would be interesting not only for professionals (actors, directors, set designers) but also for everyone who is interested in the phenomenon of theatre."
"DAKH is perhaps the only place that immediately comes to mind when talking about experimental, independent theater of today's Ukraine". Roman Dolzhansky, "Kommersant"
"Vlad Troitskyi is a key figure in the artistic renaissance  of Ukraine – a country which is constantly searching for its identity". Fabienne Darge, "Le Monde"
"Troitskyi talks intensely of his belief in a theatre of "intellectual clowning, mystery, ritual and neo-baroque aesthetics", theatre as a vehicle for spiritual self-realization". Peter Culshaw, "The Daily Telegraph"
