Perhaps, Okean Elzy has no great need to experiment with styles/formats – everything has been working well for years already. No matter whether it is a drawback – it is just as it is. When listening to the new album, you suddenly realize that there are no revelations, instead – there are the songs that you want to hear again. Just because there is nothing excessive in them – and there are some words, phrases (including musical ones) that hit exactly where they should. Where it hurts. Where there is joy. Where there is hope – and where hope is not needed because there is clear understanding of correctness of the required actions, regardless of prospects or individual comfort. In this regard, the album "Without Limits" has an eloquent cover: OE is not the mouthpiece of any definitive truths, these songs just slightly open the door – absolutely different both in emotion and in content – remind of some of issues, hint. Which door the listener chooses - that's another matter. One can choose the one with clear love lyrics, or the one where one has no chance to do without thinking. There are enough doors. Nobody limits you – choose any. However, you may also not choose any – but open all of them. Life is limitless.
