The first album of nowadays well-known Ukrainian group is in front of you. By the way, for the first time the glory has knocked to them due to a song "Tam, de nas nema". Now they are the first Ukrainian rock group which has played live in the main concert hall of Ukraine together with symphonic orchestra. Of course, they may be proud of it. On this album they are still young man, which inherent children's awkwardness, any other "thoroughbred puppy". It is frank music, and outstanding Svyatoslav Vakarchuk's lyrics. His songs are as silent light in a fog. They are slightly twilight and thin in their easy tenderness. Mastering of this release was performed in the USA, in the studio of the legendary sound producer Bob Ludwig, whose experience during the almost half-a-century career includes work with over 1200 musicians. A raelly lively album - the OE style is still nit quite rounded off in this Cd - you can tell it's the first, but it is lively and energetic and you soon get into the music, The first track sets the tone and pace of the album, with good lively, quick paced guitar and drums behind it. Top tracks are - Noviy den - the first track for a quick pace and rhythm; Pozych meni sontse, with a lovely guitar strummming start and then a pace quickening up as the song moves on; Visim, with a lively pace and Kolyska vitru close to the end. There are also tracks that are a little quieter if that's what you prefer. A good all rounder and excellent first album.
