When the joint album recorded with Taras Chubay was released, it became apparent that Kozak System are much more plastic performers than it could seem after release of their debut album. And the second independent album confirms this impression. So to say – the external drive has given way to the internal one, when dynamics are achieved not so much with heavy guitars and the high pace, but rather with a variety of approaches to arrangement, attention to detail. Thoughtfulness. In this work, there is a lot more space – maybe not so much that one would have perception of silence, but enough so that the lines of ska, reggae, folk sounded volumetric, weighty against the background of the main rock canvas. Finally, there is a difference between the desire to just speak up – and the desire / skill to convey it to the audience. There is a place for poignant social "hits", and for transparent lyrics – though due to the music the lyrics, sure, take additional dimensions. By the way, the authors of the texts are Zhadan, Polozhynsky, Oleg "MOKH" Hnativ (Perkalaba), Izdryk, Lazutkin, Polezhaka – and this is also a significant advantage, their words are changing the face of our contemporary culture right now. In short, the album turns out powerful, dynamic and lyrical at the same time, diverse and holistic – good.
