Lesyk Band. Rock&Roll zi salom.

This group was founded as long ago as in 1990, and it has turned out to be a long-liver - "Lesyk Band" still exists and performs its songs. This group is famous not only in Lviv, but all over the country. Notwithstanding the fact that all this time it has been performing in the so called “styob-rock”. Though, may be, thanks exactly to this, because Ukrainians have always liked to joke and to laugh at themselves and their life. I will say to old fans of the group that the disc being presented now is a part of the trilogy which summarises in a certain way the group’s creative development – its age allows to do that. Now regarding music. I do not know why, but personally for me this sound is associated with the middle of 80s – the beginning of 90s of the previous century. It is pleasant. There is something nostalgic, something own in this music to which you do not want to come back, but sometimes it is pleasant to recollect it. It can be compared with studies at school – you would never go back to school again, but still sometimes you want to sit at a desk at school for a moment. To carve something interesting on its top...
