First workshop of the new season will be incredibly bright. Andrey Arnautov’s Workshop (bass), which was planned in November finally, will take place!
Those who are fascinated by bass sounding, know exactly that Andrew Arnautov is not just a musician - he is a recognized master, not only in CIS countries, but throughout the jazz world. However, in the other countries he is known as Andrew Valentine.
Several years Andrew Arnautov didn’t give concerts. All this time he worked on new material. And on Jan. 25 he will present it to the audience of art-club "44".
Andrew Arnautov’s name primarily associated with his international collective "Valentine Quartet", which includes saxophonist Getz Grunberg (Germany), drummer Alex Fantaev (Israel), pianist Natalya Lebedeva (Ukraine). Vladimir Solyanik, creator of "Kiev Art Ensemble" often looked to cooperate with Andrew. In 2005, during his show at "Jazz Festival Koktebel" Arnautov played with trumpeter Lew Soloff (Lew Soloff, New York, USA).
