"Jazz In Kiev" proudly presents concert-prologue to the Jazz in Kiev Festival, that will take place on September 28th 2009 at 20:00 in Educational Cultural Centre "Master-Class" (Kyiv, Mazepa str. 34).
This concert will feature program "Anhelli" of Polish Jazz Trio, led by famous piano player Włodek Pawlik with Paweł Panta on bass and Cezary Konrad on drums.

Album "Anhelli" is based on motives of the same romantic poem of Juliusz Słowacki and is dedicated to the memory of those Polish folks that were banished to the Russian Siberia. First performance of this album took place at the JVC Jazz Festival 2005 in Warsaw and led to exceptionally prolonged applause. As such, this performance was recognized as the best festival performance, which is definitely a prove of exceptional achievement of this trio, especially considering the fact that this trio was playing next to the top world jazz musicians like Chick Corea, Charlie Haden and others.
