Ensemble of classic singing "Golosy Ukrainy" (Voices of Ukraine) represents 26 highly professional singers-performers from the best national institutional of Ukraine. The repertory basis of the ensemble consist of the best works of the national and world chorus music, including works of Ukrainian classic composers Diletskiy, Yatsinevich, Bortnyansky, Beresovsky, Vedel, Stetsenko, Leontovich, Verbytskiy, Kozytskiy, Lysenko, and famous Russian composers Rakhmaninov, Chesnokov, Arhangelskiy, Sviridov. The works of Palestrini, Schutz, Bach, Byord, Lasso, Mozart, Thompson, and others are also performed as well as the classic arrangements of folk songs by Leontovich, Stetsenko, Kolessa, Lyatoshynsky and other outstanding representatives of the genre. The singers have experience in performing symphony and chorus works such as cantatas by Bach, requiem by Mozart, Verdi, messes by Heidn, Shubert, Rossini, Vivaldi. Since time of its creation (ensemble was founded in November 1997) the ensemble has made the recordings of the works of religious singing and arrangements of folk songs forming the basis for a compact disk and audio cassette named "Music of praying". It is a presentation of the ensemble, example of its professional abilities and its orientation based on the great spiritual heritage of the nation and mean to present the remarkable achievements of the best examples of Ukrainian chorus art.
