Yuriy Izdryk is a contemporary Ukrainian novelist, poet, musician and non-fiction writer, a member of the Association of Ukrainian WritersIzdryk was born in Kalush, Ukraine, in 1962, and lives in Lviv, where he has edited the avant-garde literary journal Chetver since 1990. The author of the story "The Island of Krk" (1994), of the poetry collection "Stanislav and his 11 liberators" (1996), of novels "Wozzeck" (1996, 1997), "Double Leon" (2000) and "AMtm" (2004), of the collection of essays, "USB Flash Drive"(2007), of number of novels, of short stories, of culturology and philologie articles.
He also works as an artist (number of collective and personal exhibitions) and composer (two piano concerts, musical composition "The Medieval Menagerie" on Yuri Andrukhovych lyrics).
