Kyiv Ethno Trio

Kyiv Ethno Trio is created by Maksym Berezhnyuk - folklorist, singer of traditional Ukrainian songs, performer on traditional Ukrainian wind instruments. Participant and laureate of many All-Ukrainian and International Contests and Festivals. With his sole performances he attended many places of Ukraine as well as abroad (Lithuania, Czech Republic, Sweden, Germany, France). He has more tha 100 Ukrainian traditional wind instruments in his own collection, which he masters perfectly. They are different kinds of sopilka, whistle, ocarina, telynka, pan-flute, drymba, kaval, pipe, frilka, horn, koza (Ukrainian bagpipes).
Now Maksym with his friends, multi-instrumentalists Orest Krysa and Volodymyr Ponomariov created Kyiv Ethno Trio. It is unique folklor melodies and songs that Max found in folklore expeditions at endangered villages of Ukraine.
But it will not be pure folklore, it is impression of modern man in a globalized world.
