To rescue his dying father, a young cyclist stuntman Johnny Blaze sells his soul to Mephistopheles and sorrowfully parts with Roxanne Simpson, a girl with a pure heart, the love of all of his life. Years after, the paths of Johnny and Roxanne, who becomes a reporter, cross again. Moreover, Mephistopheles appears on his way and offers to liberate Johnny's soul if the latter becomes the legendary fiery Ghost Rider, the supernatural demon of revenge and justice. Mephistopheles puts on Johnny the duty to defeat the mean villain Black Heart, Mephistopheles' son, who wants to overturn his father and create a new hell, even more terrible than before.
