For your attention – something new and ambiguous. Though, speaking about its being new, maybe I have exaggerated – as Sergiy Kasynets has already managed to release as many as three albums of "Zakarpatsky Sector". But concerning ambiguity – that’s it. As here we have something resembling hip-hop, wedding music, kolomyikas with their banter, chanson, punk – a very strange mix. But interesting. Actually, it is due to such diversity that this music makes you listen to it attentively, go deep into the texts – but at that it does not burden. It tries to surprise – and, frankly speaking, it succeeds in it. Thus, its variety is surprisingly easy. That’s why it is interesting to listen to kolomyikas against the background of hip-hop with minor insertions of space, or against the background of chanson with minor insertions of punk. The only caution – here, they quite often use the dialect of the region specified. But, as far as I can judge, it does not impede but adds a zest. Thus, you have enough of zests here – you should only be quick enough to notice them. And that’s what I wish to you.
