In our catalogue, there are not that many recordings of antique European music – however, it is hardly strange. Certainly, in the scale of the whole planet there are quite a lot of fans of such music – but in each separate country there are comparatively few of such fans. Especially – if the issue is exactly restoration, truthful recreation, not modern reconsideration of such material. Thus – no surprise. But – a bit of a pity as well. In the end, this music is characterized by its own, very special, fragile beauty – some indescribable, unbelievable internal harmony, a light flow of internal streams. Even if you till now have not encountered it – it seems to me that a few minutes will be enough in order to plunge just one's head deep into quite a different space. The space in which every sound, every pause is something sacramental, or even sacral. Even though more often than not it is secular music – nevertheless. Actually, through such recordings not only the music space opens – but also the historical, and even magic one. And thus, we have a chance to become through this light magic – at least a bit lighter...
