Taras Prokhasko. NeprOsti. (The UnSimple). /premium edition/.
"An alternative mythology of the Carpathians in the first half of the twentieth century presented through the history of the "unsimple (neprOsti)" (this is how Huzuls called "gods on earth" – people with paranormal abilities)." Premium, illustrated edition.
Prokhasko does not write much. And this succinctly infinite novel is not that large in size. But its content is magical realism of the highest quality, capable of taking you very, very far and deep. This book is one of the reasons why the question of whether Ukraine could compete for the Nobel Prize in literature has long ceased to be rhetorical for many readers.
