Hryhoriy Skovoroda is the most prominent figure in literary life of Ukraine of the 18^th century. He was a diversely talented person – thinker and philosopher, writer, teacher, musician, connoisseur of Antiquity and Middle Ages, he mastered several languages: Latin, Ancient Greek, Hebrew, Polish, German, Russian. He constantly learned, made his knowledge deeper – "the first thing is our mind..." The powerful, common to the whole mankind content of Skovoroda's works fills in out contemporaneity as well. The integrity of his figure, the powerful intellect, independent spirit, inseparable words and actions, understanding of a human as a parts of nature attract new young generations of seekers for truth, defenders of human rights and freedoms to him...

This book is the literary debut of the known Ukrainian singer Andriy Kuzmenko (Kuzma), the leader of the group Skryabin. Two stories are included into the collection.
