Alex Kharchenko. Milling Time.
"In our times the Earth is becoming smaller, frontiers - more transparent. Could you imagine 10ears ago that American flutist Mark Weinstein will come to Kyiv to play in studio in Kyiv together with pianist from Kirovograd Alexey Kharchenko and with guitarist Dmytro Dorosh? Mark's father was born in Kyiv and in this city Mark get inspired for his future works. This album was recorded as a jam-session: it took only two weeks from the first meting of Mark and Alexey Kharchenko to the final mixing of the records. Alexey Kharchenko wrote all this tracks. Mark accidentally heard this music from one of Alexey's friend. This album may be conditionally divided on two parts: the first part is composed mostly from popular melodies, while the second is mostly based on Ukrainian melos. One more: I heard an idea that it is better to listen to this CD all alone." Alex Kogan

Myroslav Levytsky. Session in Banff. Rollston Hall (live). /digi-pack/.

Myroslav Levytsky, as known, is one of the brothers who founded the jazz group "Braty Bluzu", which is significant for Ukraine. Today we offer to you to deeper, more attentively estimate Myroslav both as a composer, and as a pianist. Because, first, he just deserves that, and secondly – because what if not a solo album creates the best opportunity for this?

Vagif Mustafa-zadeh. One Day in Kyiv.

Masterly patterns painted in the air by gentle movements of fantasy and skill are extremely tender and tempestuous at the same time. They resemble the southern heat reproduced at the transparent windowpane by frost and rime.
