Zavoloka, AGF. Nature never produces the same beat twice. /digi-pack/

It is just impossible to pass by this album – and not only because the pieces by each of the two of its authors do deserve attention. At least, my personal liking of this disc started even with the envelope – I liked the design (first impression – half the battle, right?). Then I saw the title – and it was so simple and to the point that I almost did not doubt any longer: here it was. The not too obvious, but thus even more interesting truth. For some reason, I believe that people able to notice uniqueness of displays of the world around – are able to notice considerably more. Zavoloka&AGF manage to create out of, on the whole, artificial material – a living matter. There appears a space able to breathe, move, grow – to change creatively. Not a substitute of life – but its inventive, free metaphor. Judge yourself: a few dozens of small but expressive pieces – as though pieces of smalt of different forms and matters. And all together they are – a colorful, changeable tapestry. Integral – as well as the world around, which consists of a great number of equally significant fragments. And each of them can be a separate universe. But in order to see integrity – one must look a bit from aside, from a perspective, not too deep in details. And then, possibly, you will notice how out of a technogenic metaphor – a flower grows. And – it turns into sand in a sandglass.
