Mark Clifford, Zavoloka. Split01. (EP).

This disc was released just on the eve of appearance of the absolutely new solo work by Kateryna Zavoloka – "Viter". And it has become, presumably, a sort of summarizing, completion of a certain stage – although we can speak about such things quite conditionally only. In the end, a person does not live his/her life in a hill-check method but rather flows – sometimes as a full-flowing river, and sometimes as a young one. Sometimes it leaks as rain through dry sand of conventions, and sometimes swoons as a quiet wallow, gets stuck in itself. However, in any case, it flies up again, and comes back again – and flows again... This disc leaves the same feeling – of light, drifting water. Either rain, or a spring, or just dissipated in the air, thus virtually invisible, but – perceptible. The release cannot boast its length – that's a pity. But all through the time of its sounding, as well as for some time afterwards – there brightly lives inside of it something pure and very clear. As though an icicle in first truly spring rays..
