This mini-album by Kateryna Zavoloka is an intermediate one between the works "Viter" (2007) and "Vedana" (2011). In fact, we see here Kateryna's another departure from previous elaborations – and a compelling illustration of her ability to constantly change. Qualitatively – i.e., it is not a formal change of expression means, but the philosophy of internal development manifested in the sound. It can be put in another way: instead of the almost dancing mood – there are deep bass lines mingled with broken rhythms, unexpected layers, inserts, and stops. There is gradual escalation of the atmosphere – which suddenly bursts out in semi-noise splashes or, on the contrary, dissolves in light, crystal-clear tones. Beautiful piece, and – despite the small size – it is holistic and self-sufficient.
