The illustrated magazine "Socialistic Kyiv" is a unique phenomenon having no analogues in the history of our city – it was published from 1933 till 1937 and contained materials mainly related to reconstruction of Kyiv. In the complete set of the magazine of 1936, one can read publications focused on the general layout of the capital's development, reconstruction of the center, construction of the Governmental Square and the House of the Government, schools construction, architecture of the Dnipro's embankment, prospects of industrial development of the city, etc.

The originals are preserved in the funds of the National History Library of Ukraine

The reference book "ENTIRE KYIV" of 1926 contains the texts of the Constitution of the USSR and UkrSSR, the list of central authorities of UkrSSR, statistical data, the list of public, professional, cooperative, communal, cultural facilities of Kyiv, a legal reference book, the tariffs regulations applied in the city (including the "Regulation on the class tariff at payment for communal services"), the text of the Labor Code, medical reference book, the list of streets and districts and the address book of Kyiv, etc.

The original is preserved in the funds of the National History Library of Ukraine
