A renovated album of the most energetic modern group of the Ukrainian rock-scene. It meets your expectations as it explodes. Sashko Polozhinskyi, the group’s frontman, once called himself a "tender hooligan", if I am not mistaken. The same epithet may be applied to the art of the group "Tartak" in general, because notwithstanding a powerful energy explosive, peculiar practically for their every composition, this music is not aggressive. It looks as if it were done to spite a modern alternative music that from time to time resembles a collection of chains, brass-knuckles, bats and other things, which are dangerous for life and health of both surrounding people and performers themselves. Oh no, "Tartak" is not a neatly brushed "suitcase", not an obedient dog, but at the same time it is not angry even when it curses. Its creative activities bring some very positive energy, the desire to do something right now and right here – to create, but not to ruin. Or at least just to dance. It seems to me that today "Tartak" is not just music, it is an image of a city-dweller who loves his city. As well as his place in it. A city-dweller who likes to walk on foot – and to notice the signs of life around him, the signs which cannot be noticed through a window of a car or an apartment. A city-dweller who has enough of inner energy to love this world. As for me, it is very valuable.
