(item from the "Rare Discs" section) My God, I am happy to admit – due to such works as "F5", Your presence becomes more perceptible in this world than usual. There is as much heart in this music, as just cannot exist without love. It has eyes so bright that the world is not reflected but plunges into them, and lives there happily... You know – of course, you know – how it happens when, closer to the evening, you go out of your home and breathe in full lungs of the sky... and the air is so transparent, as if washed with water from a well, and it smells of quiet gladness... and it smells of a fresh kiss – that is your life smiling to you and everyone around... There happen moments in life when suddenly you understand that you are happy not some time after, not some time ago – but right now, right here, just as you are – happy... This album is full of exactly such happiness – it exists right here and now, it quietly shines in each melody. Here, it is very cozy, here are no abrupt motions, and even the dissemination of funk is as though drops of rain on pavestones. Soft... The general acid jazz tone has absolutely organically absorbed unhurried, but so hot African rays – and fogs of the north Atlantics – and green flexible willow sing, warmth and tenderness of the Ukrainian singing – and a bit of cool illumination of cities at night... It rarely happens so that there is not a single weak composition in an album – but "Aby MS" with Tanya Radostyeva have worked out a small miracle. In "F5", all songs are really strong, light, complete and pure, as rivers of ancient times... Let these rivers flow – for our joy, for the world’s well-being... I do not insist, but. As to my taste. If you place next to this album "Lullabies" by Rosava, "Trip to Kosakivka" by Ocheretyany Kit, "Green" and "Korali" from the series "Modern Interpretation of Traditional Ukrainian Music" (plus we could add Shopping Hour "The Worldest Music", Vezi’s "Voice of the Vepsland", plus something else) – the holiday will last long... Anton Jozhik Leyba (Hedgehog) Tanya Radosteva - vocal Jack Clift - voice samples (7,10), slid-guitar (10), vocal (10) Petro Yakovchenko - trumpet (7,12) Serhiy Volodkin - trombone (6) Vitaliy Ivanov - tenor-saksofon (8) Maks Kochetov - alt-sax (1) Ihor Chernov - soprano-sax (7), tenor-sax (5), bass-clarinet (11) Roman Soluk - sopilka (2) Andriy Makarenko - back-vocal (4) Julia Berezovska - voice samples (12) Yuriy Akop - voice samples (4) Khor druziv - voice samples (4) Batacoto - "N'kosi Sikelel'i Africa" (Enoch Mankayi Sontonga) (3) Tanya Sha - music (2,4), keyboards, string programming Hennadiy Sydorov - texts (2,4), melodeclamation (11), guitars, drums programming

Cooperation of Astarta (a side project by Eduard Prystupa) with Colin Edwin (Porcupine Tree bass-player) is just an example of such quality implementation of ideas, when first you do not even try to understand what the essence is, but just listen. Listen carefully, because it is delicious.

In music – as elsewhere – there are revolutionary and evolutionary steps. But in fact the line is not on the "r", but – on the implementation quality. The project "Onuka" in general, and the album "Onuka" in particular – are exactly about the implementation quality...

...Ukrainian authenticity is primarily the mystical energy of the earth and the complete harmony with the space. This is very powerful music! The new disc by ILLARIA is a kind of a calendar of Ukrainian music traditions. It includes cover versions of well-known folk songs based on authentic archival records.

On February, 21, 2008, the folklore expedition of the project Dazzle Dreams Sound System left for Nepal. The primary objective of the project is searching and recording of countries' ethnic music – music samples, accumulation of an original record library and its integration into their own music. During one week, the guys accumulated a great number of original samples, and they became part of new tracks by Dazzle Dreams.

If music of the album were not interesting, even then this release would be worth buying – for the sake of the booklet, because it is a separate transparent trip. However, we a lucky – the music also opens for us something new indeed. Or, maybe, you know other works in the style of "Carpathians new-age with elements of ethnic jazz"?

The third album of Serhiy Kindzerskyy is a bright mixture of different styles, as he feels equally comfortable in such styles as Progressive, Breakz, DrumNbass, Electro-Tech. Moreover, it is not the first time when Kind of Zero actively involves live instruments into his work – you can hear violin, pipe, electro- and bass-guitar on the new album.

The new variant, I think, is to unite those who liked "Guliaygorod" at once – and those to whom it then seemed a bit too hard. Because the engine remains as powerful as before, besides the specificity of aerodynamics are now taken into account in the outlines, they have become smoother and swifter, but inside there are now much more cozy nooks. Result – both the speed and comfort have grown.

They strikingly harmoniously combine clear sorrow, sadness – with joy as clear. And that is why there is inside always a place left for light. Usually, children have this ability – and it does not matter how old they are...
