The content of the new album by Smack Band completely corresponds to its name – it is really light and soft. That is what one needs on a sunny day to tune in unison with it (the day). That is what one needs in the event of a period of rain – so that it were lighter on the heart and the sky did not seem low, but, the other way round – get closer. Not in some exalted sense, but... as the realization of that we live in a complex world consisting of simple things and rhythms. And from their interweaving each of us takes out – as if from a magician's hat – something different. Smack Band – gets a sunny smile, light pace, the ability to see and to create something good right here, just one step away. Even when it comes about love for music originating from across the globe – but the round globe, after all... so, is it any wonder that almost all the music in the album is author music? As a globe has no corners, so love does not need and does not recognize borders.
