I don’t know what could be said on this point, because Lilia Sandulesa has been well known to the audience for a long time, because she has always followed her line, because all admirers of her bright masterly performance will like this disc. And though she usually sings about women’s fates, which are not always successful, still thanks to her manner of performance there doesn’t appear any feeling of anguish in your soul. She performs in such a way that at some instant you understand that you are listening even not to the lyrics of her songs, but to her singing itself and to her voice – and her voice, as you understand, is wonderful. You are listening to this singing and to this voice, and your sadness disappears, while the longing for a festival appears. Well, it would be quite timely if your friends came to see you, and you could lay the table for them, and chatter with them about everything and about nothing. What for do people sit down at the table with their friends? And this music seems to be created exactly for such friendly communication. Then, suddenly, the song "I don’t believe" will sound – and (notwithstanding the title) you will start feeling light and happy. Let it be like that.
