In fact, you could already have seen all the six albums comprised in this disc with us before. But they have been released during quite a long period of time, pauses among the releases were lengthy. That is why, actually, not everyone could correctly follow development of this series of releases – even for experts it was not easy. The more so – for ordinary fans. Besides, it is not always convenient to store a huge number of CDs – the more so when this or that series tends to grow. Well, and, actually, since the first discs of this series were released already quite long ago, and nothing is heard about their second release – it is quite possible that you will soon hardly find these albums in any other form. Not a fact, sure – but it is quite likely. In any case, it is nice that now there is the opportunity to without superfluous efforts obtain six albums, six themes, six directions of expeditions at once. Whatever you might say, it is Kyiv and Poltava regions that can boast the widest range of preserved materials for folklore studies. Maybe, not so ancient ones as in Polissya or round the Carpathians – but considerably more diversified, which is also important.
