Haplyk is just a couple of fellows, but their hip-hop creates the impression as if a few more engines were hidden behind the scene. At least, they have enough energy both for a club, and for a large audience. On the one hand – music. Outwardly, quite measured, as if quiet, with quite a good groove, but inside it is full of funk rhythms, lyric insertions, jazz-like decorations. In short, interesting patterns. On the other hand – the texts. In the form, it is high-quality, saturated reciting, and in essence, mostly, – sheer punk. In the end, hip-hop, in which there are no stinging words, cannot be considered real one. But here everything is ok with it, the lyrics contain streets, and sex, and loneliness, and jokes, and some serious observations. They do not avoid a bit of cursing either – but all the same what prevails are phrases more inventive and interesting than direct use of tabooed vocabulary. Though this is not really that necessary, but – pleasant. On the whole, Haplyk makes the impression of a good, perspective enforcement in our hip-hop scene – well, and what is left for you is to make sure yourself.
