"This project has been a long time in the making and every note is played and every word sung with the utmost love and respect. The story behind IVASYUK began in 2014 when we were approached to join together to "reimagine" 5 of
Volodymyr Ivasyuk's beloved songs for a special concert in Lviv, Ukraine. We ended up having such an amazing time working together and found the challenge of modernizing Ivasyuk's songs so enjoyable, that we decided to go even further with the idea and turn it into an entire album. But life happened, scheduling conflicts got in the way, and the project was turning out to be more daunting than we first imagined. Then in 2017, we unexpectedly had the honor of meeting Ivasyuk's youngest sister, Oksana. We told her about our project, and were thrilled when she reacted with sheer enthusiasm and offered her full support to the project! That was the final push of motivation that we needed and now... the IVASYUK album is complete and ready to be shared with the world. We hope you enjoy listening to Volodymyr Ivasyuk's timeless songs as much as we enjoyed reimagining them."
