There is music that it is difficult to describe, because everything is obvious. And here – the case is that everything is obviously interesting, and the words are too light. The album "Sphyro" is rock, but with nuances in the domain of psychedelia, tending towards acid jazz, specific atmospherity, when you breathe in deeply, and the feeling is as if the calorie content of this air exceeds the limit. And one would not even say that the main role in this layout is played by the saxophone and percussion – although, apparently, it is these two actors not very characteristic of this style that are supposed to create the core character. However Atomic Simao in this case is an ensemble in the sense of a union of the equal. Each in its place, and all the places are inseparable. All together – some space-like otherwordliness, but with the convincingly earthly pulsation in the basis. In other words, it appears, extends, and roots simultaneously. A thing-in-itself – but everyone attentive can join. One can clearly hear reverence in relation to rock heroes of the 1960's – although, as well as in the case of the heroes, this music extends beyond the limits of time. It does not hide it – and is poised to eventually break through.
