Anatoliy Hnatyuk. Kolyskova dlja kohanoji... (Lullaby for the Beloved)
As this last name is known, we will indicate at once – Anatoly Hnatyuk is a brother of the known singer Mykola Hnatyuk. However, he got his first recognition as an actor – from 1985, Anatoly is an actor of Kyiv Ivan Franko Theater, on his account there are already a few dozens of roles. Moreover, he has managed to become quite a known TV showman. But in the field of variety art performance he is also not a novice – he has gained a few festivals awards. Besides, this is already the second album by Anatoly Hnatyuk as a singer. And one of the previous works – the song "Oh, Smereka", which he sang in a duet with his brother – became virtually a folk one already long ago. The album "Lullaby for the Beloved..." is an example of such Ukrainian variety art that it is difficult to come across today. Soft, lyric singing, nice melodiousness – and no extras. Here, there is no pursuit of rapid rhythms of the modern life. Vice versa, these songs are as though a stop to have rest, the opportunity to quietly listen and reflect on simple, vital things. One listens to this voice – and gets even surprised: why do variety performers spare so little attention today to such, simple and nice singing? For it is so good, to sing not for the sake of ambitions, but for the sake of that everybody enjoyed quiet pleasure – both the singer and the listener...

Good arrangements; some remind me of soviet times others are more contemporary. Romantic ballads for the most part. The one drawback is the singer's voice is spent; very limited vocal range and ability.
