"I was born in Moldova, on the border with Romania, in the village of Bujory (Pion). As a child, apart from playing football, I loved playing various handmade music instruments. I remember how impressed I was with a local shepherd’s playing a homemade sopilka. Melodies poured from it like a horn of plenty, one better than another. It was he who taught me to create a sopilka from elderberry stems and play it... I had no less satisfaction from listening to sounds of the Nature around. Rain, chirr of grasshoppers, birds’ singing, voices of domestic animals fascinated my ear every second... Remembering my childhood, I decided to create for you, kids, special discs, where you will simultaneously learn more about classic music, and about sounds of the Living Nature (the village)..."
