We suffered a lot after the death of our soloist Freddie Mercury – we hope that you will never have to go through this kind of a loss. Love yourself, protect yourself – live!" – so the musicians addressed Ukrainians. Kharkiv was selected as the place for holding the concert, the historical Freedom Square. It is so huge that airplanes landed there during the World War II! More than 350 000 Ukrainians came to the square to see and hear the legendary group. More than 10 million people watched the show broadcasted live. In total, more than 20 million persons became participants of the event about which the musicians said: "Unforgettable feelings... One of those rare moments in life which you will definitely never forget..." In English . Єдине, чого не зможу сказати після перегляду концерту, - я там був. По доброму заздрю мешканцям нашого міста та гостям, які того пам'ятного вечора відчула "наживо" смак справжньої музики. Багато хто вперше відкрив для себе незрівняний, старий, добрий рок. Постаріли учасники гурту, але їхня музика - ніколи.
Сподобався "сюрприз" Браяна Мея. "Заспіваймо !", - попрохав він людей на майдані Свободи. Мої родичі та знайомі, які вперше чули спів на англійській мові в нашому місті, були шоковані дослівним знанням глядачами пісень з репертуару Queen( Love Of My Life, '39 ).
Як на мене, це не дивно: ці пісні просто хочеться співати, так багато в них пристрасті та нестримного бажання жити !
Залишилося схилити голову перед професіоналізмом музикантів: вокалом Пола Роджерза, гітарними соло Браяна Мея та барабанними партіями Роджера Тейлора. Ну, і звичайно вічно живий та незрівняний Фредді Меркьюрі, який був того вечора на сцені, залишився в кожному серці.

Это что-то больше чем музыка. Представьте на минуту, хотя смогут не все. 70 е года, мы молодые студенты. Под эту музыку встречались, влюблялись. Слушали её порой на самодельных усилителях и проигрывателях, были пластинки, хоть и трудно было достать. И тут на тебе, не старея свободно, лёгко, трогая душу звучит любимый диск да и ещё с изображением добрых, молодых душой музыкантов. Хороший дизайн диска, отменное качество.
