Let us mention at once that "The Echo of Kryivka" is an author's project by the poet and musician, a known bard
Olexander Smyk. We have more than once represented his albums at our store before – the audience has long known Smyk as a truly interesting, intelligent author. Well, and the project's implementation in life – this refers both to the studio recording and concert performance – was undertaken by Volodymyr Verminsky together with the group "Accent" created by him several years ago. Our visitors know Volodymyr Verminsky well too – in particular due to his album
"Partisans Went through the Village". We remind it not for nothing – the topics, as you see, are interconnected. The sounding is also interconnected to some extent – but participation of a professional group that works both in the studio, and at concerts, still leaves its trace. In a positive sense, sure, even though they did not intend here, say, real rock sounding. Well, and concerning the content – Olexander Smyk is the author of the greater majority of the project's songs, and we have already mentioned the quality of his work. This man really knows how to work with the word – especially when it is about what truly hurts him..
